Named after one of the beautiful terroirs of Faye d'Anjou, Clos des Mailles is the hallmark of the domaine. Chenin Blanc vines of between six to a hundred years old are grown on the hillside of schist with phtanites going from the crest of the hills which overhang the Layon to the mid-northwest slope. The Chenins vines for this cuvée are located at the highest point of the hillside, on the crest and the beginning of the slope, on very thin soil where the schist and its phtanite veins are exposed.
Due to the sensitive nature of low intervention wines, in general all purchases are final, non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
