According to Fabrice, the name Crapule roughly translates to a riff-raff or a young thug who can't be trusted and this cuvée holds close to his heart as it was the nickname his grandfather gave him when he was a kid. 

Currently classified as Vin de France, the grapes that goes into Crapule comes from the village of Jullié will be classified under the appellation of Chénas from 2021 onwards!
