A beautifully taut and energetic expression of Grolleau. The nose is bright and lifted with notes of cranberry, redcurrant, and pomegranate complemented by a light peppery spice. The palate follows through with that same freshness and more, lean with mouthwatering acidity, stretching the fruit into a long, saline-edged finish. Just pure energy in a glass.

This is a light bodied natural rosé wine.

About Domaine Bariou Bodet

When Jennifer Bariou and Thibaut Bodet started in 2015 they had 2.5 hectares, now they cultivate 9 hectares of vines in Azay-le-Rideau in the Loire of France.

They cultivate their organic vines using biodynamic farming principles, and only work with native yeasts while making as few manipulations as possible. Their plots are spread over different terroirs and exposures with diverse soil comprised of clay, flint, and quartz. They use sheep to graze the land and have also planted fruit trees around the estate.
