Les Cargadous 2020

Les Cargadous is a white blend of Roussanne and Chenin Blanc — an unusual pairing from the Languedoc that works beautifully here, each grape reinforcing the other’s best qualities. From clay and stone soils in the IGP Pays d’Hérault, this cuvée is aged in a mix of oak barrels and stainless steel tanks to balance texture with freshness. On the nose, white peach, beeswax, and a honeyed floral note; the palate is structured but not heavy, with a creamy texture giving way to a mineral, slightly saline finish. A wine to linger over, with roasted chicken, pork, or a ripe creamy cheese.
