Amor Per La Terra began as a friendship: a restaurateur, a winemaker and a wine agent, united by a shared admiration for growers who farm with respect for the land. La Vinya d'en Tomas, Tomas's vineyard, is one of the low-intervention Catalan plots they work with, and the wine keeps everything that makes this corner of Spain worth drinking. Mediterranean red fruit, a lick of dried herb and warm stone, carried on fresh acidity rather than weight. Made simply, bottled honestly, and built for the table rather than the cellar. Serve it with a light chill.
