Recerca which roughly translates to "research" in Catalan has been created in 2018 by Jess Albero and Laurent Pujol owners of Zulu a wine négociant project. Zulu focuses on more fun and exciting wines with their partner wineries whereas the objective of Recerca is to create serious terroir specific wines with indigenous varieties from the Roussillon region. Recerca the name itself give hints to how they work and what the duo expects from their wines.
