Julienas "Les Trois Verres” 2020 Magnum

The 2020 "Les Trois Verres" magnum from Domaine David-Beaupère is a compelling expression of Juliénas Cru Gamay built for larger format enjoyment and gradual evolution in bottle. The 2020 vintage was a slightly warmer vintage in Beaujolais which delivered ripe fruits without loss of tension showing through the fresh red fruit with a touch of structure and clarity, presenting beautifully ripe Gamay aromatics lifted by moderate tannin and a vibrant core.  

Pouring with an elegant ruby hue, this magnum offers raspberry and redcurrant fruit framed by a savoury streak and gentle spice, supported by clear acidity and subtle grip that is unusually present for the region.

The 2020 release is structured and complex on the palate, with enough tannic backbone to complement grilled meats or charcuterie while the larger format helps it unfold slowly, smoothing textures and heightening aromatic intensity over time.
