Domaine David-Beaupère is led by Louis-Clément David-Beaupère in Juliénas, working some of the appellation’s most characterful sites, including La Bottière and the steep, stone-studded Vayolette slope. Farming has been organic for many years, with certification achieved early on, and the winemaking follows the same clear intent: native yeast fermentations, gentle macerations, and élevage in neutral vessels to preserve energy and place. The wines show a more serious side of Beaujolais, balancing drinkability with savoury depth and the kind of structure that holds at the table and evolves well in bottle.
