Light, translucent ruby - almost glowing in the glass. There’s a flicker of reduction on the nose, just enough to add some edge and intrigue without veering into funk. What follows is pure pleasure: juicy red berries, soft florals, and a silky-smooth palate that glides with zero resistance. Just clean, vibrant Meunier doing its thing. It’s simple, but in the best possible way. Unpretentious, crushable, and stupidly delicious.

This is a light bodied natural red wine.

About 2NaturKinder

With backgrounds in Jewish studies and philosophy Melanie and Michael worked for science publishers in Germany and the UK for several years before going back to the family-winery founded in 1843. With the 2013 vintage 2Naturkinder was born.

All the grapes are hand-picked and come from about seven hectares of organically farmed vineyards in Franconia, Germany. There is no use of any additives at any stage of the winemaking, making these wines truly natural wines.

The wines are aged in the cellar for at least one year and often longer.
