Pale lemon-green in the glass, with a zesty nose of citrus, lemongrass, and crushed herbs. Razor-sharp acidity drives the palate - electric and mouthwatering, though still settling into itself. There’s real clarity of varietal and regional expression here, with all 3 grapes contributing something of their own. One for immediate drinking, but with a few years in bottle, it could also blossom into something more. A two-way street, pick your character.

About 2NaturKinder

With backgrounds in Jewish studies and philosophy Melanie and Michael worked for science publishers in Germany and the UK for several years before going back to the family-winery founded in 1843. With the 2013 vintage 2Naturkinder was born.

All the grapes are hand-picked and come from about seven hectares of organically farmed vineyards in Franconia, Germany. There is no use of any additives at any stage of the winemaking, making these wines truly natural wines.

The wines are aged in the cellar for at least one year and often longer.
