The two first crossed paths in Frankfurt, where Claudiu still manages his own wine bar, Espresso Espresso while Hannes Bergdoll takes a pragmatic, agricultural approach, stemming from a family of German vintners. The project started when Hannes' family generously offered a portion of their vines located in the Landau municipality where they cultivate both local and international grape varieties
A perfect marriage of skills, resources but more importantly vision of the duo results in the mastery of their Solera wines which we find irresistibly complex yet ready to drink.
