Opens on fresh quince and lemon zest, layered with lychee and pear blossom - bright and inviting. Subtle savoury curves emerge: a hint of hay and white pepper, a subtle tone of chalky limestone grounding the fruit. On the palate, it’s vibrant but poised - lemon pith and green apple glide through saline minerality and a ribbon of lees-driven texture. Acidity feels crisp and focused, with a touch of almond bitterness and herbal lift that carries through a refreshing, mineral-tinged finish.

This is a light bodied natural white wine.

About 2NaturKinder

With backgrounds in Jewish studies and philosophy Melanie and Michael worked for science publishers in Germany and the UK for several years before going back to the family-winery founded in 1843. With the 2013 vintage 2Naturkinder was born.

All the grapes are hand-picked and come from about seven hectares of organically farmed vineyards in Franconia, Germany. There is no use of any additives at any stage of the winemaking, making these wines truly natural wines.

The wines are aged in the cellar for at least one year and often longer.
