All or Nothing 2024
The grapes comes from a single small parcel on the Steigerberg, Rheinhessen, planted with a selection massale of Pinot Noir on volcanic rhyolite soil. Antoine and Daisy pick it by hand when it's ready and not a day before, which in 2024 meant a September harvest from 20-year-old vines that had done exactly what old vines do: concentrate everything into a small amount of very serious fruit.
Fourteen days on the skins, whole bunch, semi-carbonic maceration, then ten months in old oak. The result is Pinot Noir with real presence dark cherry, a hint of wild spice, and the kind of mineral tension that rhyolite soil produces and nowhere else does quite the same way.
Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulphites.
