Golden Hour 2024
Golden Hour has always been Soma's most atmospheric wine named for the light at the end of the day, made for the moment when the day's work is done. The 2024 is Silvaner grown on red sandstone in Rheinhessen, harvested by hand, macerated for seven days on the skins, pressed and transferred to old oak for eleven months.
Silvaner is a grape that gets underestimated too often it's dismissed as neutral but given good terroir and a gentle skin contact, it becomes something far more interesting: nectarine and stone fruit warmth on the nose, a texture that's gently grippy without being tannic, and a finish sharpened by fresh acidity. Amber in the glass, aromatic, alive.
Unfiltered, unfined, zero added sulphites.
