Ah! The first German Brutal needs no introduction, sharp clean riesling as it was intended. Young vigorous Riesling vines from the limestone hills where Michael and Melanie have their vines for Heimat, Fledermaus and Weinschwärmer. 2023 was a great year for rieslings with a warm and dry summer with just enough rain to keep the concentration of the fruit at its peak.

This is a light bodied natural white wine.

About 2NaturKinder

With backgrounds in Jewish studies and philosophy Melanie and Michael worked for science publishers in Germany and the UK for several years before going back to the family-winery founded in 1843. With the 2013 vintage 2Naturkinder was born.

All the grapes are hand-picked and come from about seven hectares of organically farmed vineyards in Franconia, Germany. There is no use of any additives at any stage of the winemaking, making these wines truly natural wines.

The wines are aged in the cellar for at least one year and often longer.
